Thinking about jazz

John Malachi was one of those rare talents who helped make D.C. a great jazz town.  Born in North Carolina, he moved here at an early age with his family and chose a life of local performance, teaching and mentoring to the grind of a life on the road.  His legacy, here and abroad, is substantial  Rusty Hassan presents.
